Here are some websites you can access to support reading at home.

Slough Libraries

Whilst all libraries are currently closed, they still have lots of free online resources that you can access online with your library membership including eAudiobooks and eBooks, online newspapers, magazines and many online courses.  If you do not have a library card yet, you can sign up for one online from the comfort of your own home!

Oxford Owl

The Oxford Owl website has free online books to read - you can select books according to your child's book band as well as their RWInc level (EYFS and Y1).  Click on the Oxford Owl icon below to access their website. You will need to set up a parent account to access their e-books.

Having logged on the the site, you can find RWInc specific books by filtering as per the below picture. You then simply select the book you want to read. 

BBC Bitesize (KS1) 

Activities to support reading and all other curriculum areas. Click on the icon below to access their website.

Audible

Whilst schools are closed, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.  All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.
