We had a wonderful time celebrating the King's Coronation last Friday. Do see below for some of the photos from the day. We hope you all enjoyed the long weekend too!
The next few weeks are really important in school - we have Y2 SATS throughout May, Y1 phonic screening check assessment (and any child in Y2 who didn't pass this in Y1) in June. Please don't worry about any of these - your children and teachers have been working hard all year to prepare. Please do continue to ensure your child does the following (in all year groups):
-Comes to school EVERY day on time
-Reads every day
-Gets a good night sleep
-Eats a good breakfast
These are the foundations for learning. Please do speak with your child's class teacher if you have any worries.

Book Fair
On Tuesday, 25th April Bookwagon came to school to run a pop up book fair. It was lovely to see so many children and parents attending after school and making some lovely book purchases! Bronnie and Bob from Bookwagon wrote to us afterwards and said "It is a highlight for us. The way the children showed such interest and focus was inspiring." Thank you to everyone who came along - the school gets commision from the book sales and are now able to purchase £100 worth of books for our school library. We are now looking forward to the next book sale!
