Leaders have been considering how the school can further support our community to live more healthily; this includes what we eat and how active we are.
For starters, can you encourage your child to be active for at least 60 minutes each day? This could include walking to school. Consider swapping food high in sugar for alternatives, too.
These are due to take place next Tuesday and Thursday for all classes except Robin and Magpie (their meetings will take place after half-term.) These meetings are compulsory. Please ensure you sign up before the end of day today.
SAFEGUARDING
Safer Internet Day has become a landmark event in the online safety calendar. Starting as an initiative of the EU SafeBorders project in 2004 and taken up by the Insafe network as one of its earliest actions in 2005, Safer Internet Day has grown beyond its traditional geographic zone and is now celebrated in approximately 180 countries and territories worldwide.
From cyberbullying to social networking to digital identity, each year Safer Internet Day aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns.

Place2Be launched the first-ever Children’s Mental Health Week in 2015 to shine a spotlight on the importance of children and young people’s mental health.
Now in its ninth year, they hope to encourage more people than ever to get involved, spread the word, and raise vital funds for children’s mental health.
